Fortiguerra, Nicolo, geb. 1674 zu Pistoja, gest. 1735 zu Rom, komischer ital. Dichter, nicht unglücklicher Nachahmer Ariostos, richtete, obwohl selbst Kleriker, seinen Spott gerne gegen die Geistlichkeit (Venedig 1738; deutsch von Gries, Stuttgart 1831–32).
