Labarum, röm. Feldzeichen; seit Kaiser Konstantin die Hauptfahne, in Kreuzform, mit den griech. Anfangsbuchstaben des Namens Christi Χ P, oder auch mit dem Christusbilde, das kunstvoll in die Seide gestickt war.
