Res judicata, lat., endgültig abgeurtheilte Rechtssache, so daß der geschützte Anspruch vollzogen werden (actio judicati) oder der befreite Beklagte gegen künftige Erneuerung desselben mit der Einrede der abgeurtheilten Sache (exceptio rei judicatae) sich behelfen kann.
