Accolade, d.h. Umhalsung, Umarmung. 1. Umarmung des in einen Ritterorden Aufgenommenen durch den Großmeister, noch gebräuchlich bei den Freimaurern. 2. ein Strich oder Klammer, durch die mehrere Wörter verbunden werden; kommt besonders in Tabellen vor. 3. Die aus perpendikulären Strichen bestehende Klammer am vorderen Rande, um mehrere Notenlinien mit einander zu verbinden.
